As a clothing designer, I work with discarded textiles and reinvent unwanted fabrics. I think of this as my role as one of the tiniest of cogs in the universe contributing to a greater good in a way that provides self-expression and sometimes causes others to think on their consumption. The fashion industry is riddled with misinformation and unnatural expectations of beauty. In this filter, I wanted to imagine a Me that had transcended my exterior and had found a place in the greater Universe.
